At Bradford & Bigelow, growth often starts on the production floor and evolves into new opportunities across the organization. We’re proud to celebrate Nairoby and her recent promotion to Estimator, a role that reflects both her dedication and her drive to grow within the company.
Nairoby joined B&B in early 2019 as a temporary employee, working as a Bindery Helper and supporting various tasks within the department. Through her strong work ethic and eagerness to learn, she quickly made a lasting impression, earning a full-time position and laying the foundation for her career in book manufacturing.
In 2021, Nairoby was promoted to Bindery Operator, where she was trained to run the Alegro Binder. During this time, she continued expanding her skillset by learning different areas of the bindery and developing a deeper understanding of the equipment and processes. With guidance from lead operators and her manager, she built a well-rounded knowledge of production that would later prove invaluable.
As her career progressed, Nairoby remained committed to her work while also balancing the responsibilities of being a mother. When an Estimator position opened, she expressed interest and took the initiative to pursue the opportunity. B&B’s commitment to employee growth was on full display as she was given the chance to interview and ultimately earned the role.
Now serving as an Estimator, Nairoby brings a unique, hands-on perspective to her work. Her experience in the bindery allows her to approach projects with a practical understanding of production, helping to ensure accuracy and efficiency from the earliest stages of a job. While the transition has come with new challenges, she has embraced the opportunity to continue learning and growing every day.
