# How does Bradford & Bigelow handle kitting and assembly?

## Learn how B&B kits multiple components into a single package for fulfillment.

Bradford & Bigelow offers kitting as part of its fulfillment program combining multiple components into a single packaged unit before shipment. If your product ships as a set of multiple books or includes companion materials, B&B can assemble and kit those components together so they arrive as one cohesive package.

**What kitting involves**
Kitting at Bradford & Bigelow typically involves combining multiple books or printed components into a single package. Common examples include:

- Multi-volume curriculum sets shipped as a single unit
- Student and teacher edition pairs packaged together
- Book and workbook combinations assembled into one package

**How kitting works with fulfillment**
Kitted items are set up in Bradford & Bigelow's warehouse management system as a bundle, so when an order is placed for that product, the fulfillment team assembles the components and ships them together. This eliminates the need for customers to manage assembly themselves or coordinate multiple separate shipments to the same destination.

**Setting up a kitting program**
If you have a product that requires kitting, discuss your requirements with your Bradford & Bigelow representative during the project setup phase. Kitting specifications including which components are included, quantities per kit, and any packaging requirements are established in advance so fulfillment runs efficiently.
