Does Bradford & Bigelow offer FSC-certified paper?
Find out how to request FSC or SFI certified paper stock for your print project.
Yes. Bradford & Bigelow offers both FSC and SFI certified paper stocks. Certified stock is available on request and must be specified at the time of quoting so the appropriate chain-of-custody documentation can be maintained throughout production.
What FSC and SFI certification means for your paper
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) are independent certification programs that verify paper comes from responsibly managed forests. Both are widely recognized by publishers, institutional buyers, and green procurement programs as credible standards for responsible sourcing.
How to request certified paper
To print on FSC or SFI certified stock, let your Bradford & Bigelow representative know at the quoting stage. Certified stocks need to be planned in advance to ensure chain-of-custody documentation is maintained from paper supplier through finished product. Requesting certification after a job has been quoted or scheduled may not be possible.
Can my finished book carry the FSC or SFI label?
If your project uses certified paper and meets the requirements of the relevant certification program, your finished book may be eligible to carry the FSC or SFI mark. Talk to your B&B representative about certification requirements and label usage during the quoting process.
