Account Manager

Reports to: Pre-Press Manager

Job Snapshot:

Act as a point of contact for internal and external customers while coordinating and assuring accurate/timely execution and production of assigned customer accounts. Schedule production workflow to meet the customer's delivery requirements. Set job flow throughout production, balancing deadlines and equipment demands. Process orders and change notices. Maintain and update all customer and vendor information. Advise department leadership of equipment manning and schedule requirements. Update schedules daily, adding new items and adjusting existing jobs. Work as part of a team and participate in Total Quality Management efforts. Manage and follow-up with outsourced tasks. Serve as the primary backup for production timekeeping when necessary. Assure the highest level of personal performance possible to help Bradford & Bigelow achieve its goals of being the best provider of printing services in the industry.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Proficient in computer software applications
  • Excellent math skills and analytical, problem solving skills
  • Solid written and oral communication skills

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
  • At least 3 years related experience (scheduling jobs in a manufacturing environment)
  • Knowledge of printing process highly desirable


Sales & Business Development Manager

Reports to: VP of Sales & Business Development

Job Snapshot:

Protect profit & contribution margins submit estimates to prospects & client base. Manage, organize & execute suspect, prospect and client progression to company's CRM. Research & qualify potential leads by use of technical & phone skills via internet, social media, Reference USA, IndustryNet, etc. Initiate & execute email bursts and phone calls. Sell into all company vertical market strengths. Present live or via conference call &/or video conferencing with no reservation, fear of rejection or slow down at all procurement levels. Provide business development reports & bid analysis on sales/business development activity. Provide a smooth & seamless prospect to client transition from sales/business development to account management.

  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • Collaborate well in a team environment while maintaining the ability to work independently
  • Be innovative, analytical and adaptable to client life cycle

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Advanced Degree preferred
  • At least 3 years sales experience in closely related field
  • Experience in printing industry highly desirable
